As a consulting practice, Ghost Boat provides support, guidance, practical services, and educational resources to performing arts nonprofits and individual artists.
I am deeply interested in supporting individual artists and small, emerging, and experimental collectives and organizations, which typically means a variety of different services, including career coaching and mentorship, creating strategic plans, assessing fundraising and business plans, setting up new organizations, securing fiscal sponsorship, and establishing 501c3 status, writing grants, advising on leadership and staffing structures, and connecting artists and organizations with appropriate resources, in terms of financial support, non-monetary resources, human capital, and field-wide connections. All of this work is done through a lens of centering artist leadership and with an anti-oppression analysis.
Clients work with me for an intensive period, or for months or years, whatever suits the projects and the person is what’s right. However, there are some pricing and minimums. See Rates for more information.
